Just what the net needs :)
This is me in my barwench garb at a local sci-fi/fantasy con. This particular one is from 2007 but nothing has changed since so here it is. Hmm. So about me. My name is Staci, am a college graduate, and live with my brother and his fiance. I spend a good deal of my time at work (two jobs!!), or on the computer doing whatever. I do a lot of reading, I love music, and I'm avidly studying anything I can find in relation to Asian (specifically Japanese) Culture. I also make a habit of studying religion. For some reason Theology and the differences in cultures as pertaining to religion and belief structure just fascinate me. I'm a Certified Medical Assistant and have found my love in the administrative aspect of DME (Durable Medical Equipment). By night I'm a cashier at the greatest store evaaarrrr!::Family:: Much too much to mention, but if you know ME, then you know THEM. what we're calling twins, but hey we'll find that out when we get there.::Pets:: I have a cat, Midoriko, who is roughly 4 years old, and a monster when she wants to be. Her name is japanese for 'Green Lady' which has been my screen name
almost as long as I've been on the net. Unfortunately not many of the recent pictures we have of the little beast are decent enough for the net. (See album Di Toro Family Album/Slut Kitty)
I had a dog, Dottie, a Schipperke, but due to health reasons we had to put her down. We will miss her greatly. Sadly I have no decent photos to crop and put up.
::Friends::Weeeel, sad too say that I don't really have much spare time but I always make time for my BFF Amanda and my dad who lives in MI. A few local friends, most notably The Wonder Twins (aka My Asians, who are very good friends of mine that I don't get much time to see). Wonder Twin Elder (Desa) is currently working on a Bachelors Degree (CPA?), and the younger (Rayah) is I believe working for the city and hanging at the community college (what's her major!?!). We need to get together more often, but unfortunately we all have conflicting schedules. Bah, such is life. Other than that, I used to play L5R (Legend of the Five Rings) with some friends (as before, NO TIME!), and am prone to the occasional night out for karaoke or line dancing. You heard me folks, LINE DANCING!!! It's fun!
